Our sports medicine staff has been using the Phoenix Thera--Lase System laser on our student-athletes for approximately six months. One of our objectives and considerations for the inclusion and use of any modality in our department is to ensure that it will aid in the care for our student-athletes.

Since we have incorporated the Phoenix Thera-Lase System Laser into our treatment protocols, our student-athletes have noticed improved range of motion with treatment for soft tissue injuries. Though subjective, we believe continued use and application of the modality has enhanced our ability to accomplish our therapy and return to play goals for our student-athletes.
