Graduated from the University at Buffalo in 1999 with Bachelors of Science Degrees in Physical Therapy and Sport & Exercise Physiology, I have always been driven by a passion for helping others regain their strength and mobility. When I became a physical therapist, my ultimate goal was to provide outstanding one-on-one care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. However, I quickly realized that the quality of care available in many settings fell short of what I envisioned. Determined to make a difference, I decided to venture out on my own.
I started small, visiting the homes of my patients to deliver the personalized, one-on-one care that I strongly believe is essential in achieving optimal rehabilitation results. The overwhelming positive response I received from my home care services not only validated my approach but also inspired me to expand. Driven by the encouragement and trust of my patients, I opened my first clinic in September 2001.
Being part of the local community has been a truly rewarding experience. Over time, the growing support from my patients and their families allowed me to take the next big step—relocating my practice nine years later to a much larger, state-of-the-art medical complex in the heart of Locust Valley. This facility was designed with one goal in mind: to continue providing the intense, one-on-one attention that defines our approach, while offering the best possible environment for rehabilitation. To enhance our patients' recovery, I invested in cutting-edge equipment, including the Biodex un-weighting system for advanced gait training and a complete line of Quantum & Sci-Fit exercise equipment to accommodate every level of fitness. Additionally, we introduced the Phoenix Thera-Lase system, a class IV cold laser therapy tool used by professional NFL and NBA athletes for rehabilitation, enabling us to offer the same high-quality care as elite sports professionals.
As our reputation for quality care grew, so did our ambition to reach more people. We are now thrilled to bring our superior hands-on therapy and personalized approach to my hometown of the Syosset/Jericho community. Our new 8,000 sq. ft. facility is carefully designed to maximize patient outcomes, offering a spacious and comfortable environment that caters to a wide range of rehabilitation needs.
Throughout my journey, my primary goal has remained the same: to provide exceptional, one-on-one physical therapy that allows my patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals as efficiently and effectively as possible. At SoundSide, we stand for quality care with a personal touch, helping each patient thrive and return to doing what they love. It has been an honor to serve my community, and I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of my patients for years to come.
